Positive: Beautifully presented breakfasts, lots of care taken over them to showcase different Japanese dishes. A quiet hotel with spacious rooms. The onsen was spotless and quiet- really relaxing.

Negative: No complaints. You would benefit from having a car due to the hotel's location but a shuttle service to/from the station is provided.

Summary: Forest hotel with lovely breakfasts.

Negative: Stained carpet in hallways, bit run down.

Positive: Stunning location. It is isolated but they provided a shuttle bus. The food was plentiful and authentic. The hot bath was a bonus
